Individual health and well-being are a lifelong pursuit. From supporting the rapid growth and development of early childhood to ensuring that we’re filling our vitamin and mineral needs in later years, nutritional needs are dynamic over time. And woven in with life stages is our individuality. Both nutrition and supplements are never a “one size fits all” approach, since we each have unique needs.

Here are a few key things to consider for the whole family at different life stages:

Kids Ages 5+ - An excellent time to ensure a solid foundation with a probiotic to support both digestive and immune health†, along with a kid’s specific multivitamin to fill the gaps in the diet. Healthy habits start early!

Teenagers - As teenagers spread their wings and eat more meals outside of the home, they can be particularly susceptible to nutrient gaps. Iron is a key nutrient for teens, to build healthy red blood cells† Consider getting iron levels tested if your teenager is female and/or an athlete. B vitamins are also important to support cellular energy production during this time of life.†

Parents – Attention parents, this is your gentle reminder to take care of your own health needs, while you take care of everyone else! A daily multivitamin is a great way to fill the gaps in the diet, and a One Daily Multi is a convenient choice for busy lifestyles. Consider also getting your Vitamin D levels checked to discover if you’re deficient in this important vitamin. Vitamin D is a powerhouse nutrient, supporting a healthy immune system, bone health, and an overall sense of well-being. †

Grandparents – Did you know that the ability to absorb Vitamin B12 can decrease with age and with the use of certain medications? Check in with your doctor about if supplementing with additional B12 may be appropriate for you. Vitamin B12 has an important role in supporting cellular energy production† As many people also have an increased focus on keeping active throughout all phases of life, the ancient root Turmeric is available in supplement form to support a healthy inflammation response.†
