The roar of the waves, the whoosh of the wind, the sand at our feet… are we in the tropics? No, more like smack dab in the middle of an unrelenting New England Blizzard.
Mother nature thought she’d be funny and crash our Luau themed company meeting with a couple feet of snow... but did that stop us? No way. Despite the weather, we still managed to fly in all of our employees for our semi-annual event, internally referred to as “Town Hall.”
This season’s Town Hall meeting began with a celebration of our incredible employees and their dedication to our culture over the past year, topped off with a ukulele themed award for the employee with the most “ZingMojo.” Our big Kahuna, Robert, and the leadership team gave us a recap of the year before looking towards the future. We have much to look forward to in 2015, including increased transparency, and more employee benefits.
The best part of the whole event? Celebrating our successes in a big way. We rode mechanical sharks and surfboards, danced the hula, and even had a sand castle contest. We certainly know how to enjoy the journey and can put this one down in the record books for a great time with our MegaFood ohana*.
